Architects need to be good craftsmen. To enable architecture’s beautiful layer, we must master our profession’s geometrical, sculptural and artistic facets.

In an increasingly digitally rigid, centrally controlled BIM-working environment, Rhinoceros is one of the few design programs that stands out artistically. It spans fields from product design to urbanism. However, its truly unique feature is its sculptural aspect, which, for experienced Rhino users, sometimes evokes the feeling of working with a physical model. Rhino is a tactile 3D modelling tool that allows users to create complex shapes that enrich architectural ambition.

The course will be held on Fridays, with two SWS per week. It is divided into two parts. The first part involves learning Rhino from scratch (more experienced users can benefit from it) and introducing key operations applied to cases. The second part is where you use Rhino to wholly or partly create your studio or elective project.
