From mono-programmatic to multi-functional building. Bürohaus 4-10 at the Urania was built in the 1960s by Werner Düttman and Karlheinz Fischer. Unfortunately, the building fell into abandonment after the discovery of a pollutant called PCB which can be found in most of its seal joints. Once owned by the people of Berlin, the building is now undergoing demolition to make way for new major development. The thesis project provides an alternative future of what the building could be if it were not demolished.
