nature living, Second Place – Lars-Lerup Award 2024

As our cities grow, access to nature and green spaces becomes increasingly limited for residents. In dense urban environments, there are fewer public spaces dedicated to parks and fewer street trees, resulting in less integration of natural elements into daily life. In other words, nature is a luxury. In Wagenburg Lohmülenstraße Berlin, this housing project aims to merge working and living in close proximity to green spaces while preserving existing natural conditions.
